Garhwa: In Garhwa and Ramkanda blocks of the district, Garhwa MLA Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of Jharkhand, could not reach due to unavoidable reasons in various pre-scheduled foundation stone laying programs on Monday. Minister Shri Thakur was to lay the foundation stone of various schemes including cold storage in Birbandha in Garhwa block and Chete bridge in Ramkanda block and Bhoomi Pujan. But due to sudden departure, he could not attend these programs. For this, Mantra Shri Thakur expressed regret through telephone in a program organized in Ramkanda.
Addressing the people through phone, the minister said that some anti-social elements were trying to give a communal color to the incident in Barhi, due to this special circumstance he suddenly had to go to Barhi. Because of this I could not attend the program. The minister said that they would soon reach the public. He said that the foundation stone of all the schemes being laid would be completed very soon. It will also be inaugurated with pomp. The minister said that he is constantly striving for the development of Garhwa. In Garhwa, schemes of all departments are being run in every area. The minister said that the Jharkhand government is running such schemes, whose direct benefits are given to the public. He said that he will show tax in five years as much as the work that was not done in 70 years of independence.
