Bhawanathpur: Aam Aadmi Party's Vis-in-Charge Shankarpriya Ram Chandravanshi sat on an indefinite hunger strike from Tuesday in front of the block headquarters gate to fulfill the five-point demand related to the public interest from the district administration without delay.
On the occasion, Shankar Priya Ram said that due to lack of satisfactory action by the district administration on the application given earlier, I am sitting on a fast unto death. During the agitation to complete the incomplete road construction from Bhavnathpur Karpuri Chowk to Kandi, I and my colleagues were sent to jail by the administration under section 353 on the charge of road jam, where we were going to Garhwa and Garhwa for more than 3 months. He is out on bail serving his sentence in Dhanbad jail. Said that the agitation was called off after the district administration assured that the said incomplete road would be completed soon, but till date the complete construction of that incomplete road has not been done.
In the demands of Shankar Priya Ram sitting on fast, proper action should be taken against the guilty officer and the contractor, while completing the incomplete road construction work from Bhavnathpur Karpuri Chowk to Kandi Bazar without delay. The construction work of the incomplete hospital building in the block headquarters premises since 2008 should be started without any delay. The closed filter water machine located in the block headquarters premises should be started immediately. For the prevention of theft and accidents in the block areas, arrangement of CCTV cameras should be made at every place. The amount should be arranged every month to the beneficiaries of various pension schemes. On this occasion, former BJP candidate Rajendra Ram Paswan, Sanjay Kumar, Krishna Prasad Gupta etc. were present.
