Sagma: 43-year-old Shyam Sundar Bhuiyan alias Luru Bhuiyan, a resident of Putur village of Dhurki police station area, died on Sunday due to drowning while taking a bath in the Fasalgwa pond of Kalma village, located a short distance from the house. It is told about the incident that Luru was trying to bathe while sitting on a stone in the pond, during which his foot slipped, due to which he could not get out due to the deep water in the pond. Due to which he died by drowning in the pond.
On receiving information about the dead body near the pond, the local people informed the Dhurki police. After reaching the spot, the police with the help of local villagers got the body out of the pond and got it constructed at Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Giving information, the station in-charge Sadanand Kumar said that it was reported by the local people that a person had died due to drowning while taking a bath in the Fasalgawa pond of Kalma village.
After reaching the spot, the dead body has been sent to Garhwa for post-mortem. On the other hand, as soon as the information of the incident was received, a large number of people gathered from other villages including the whole village. A large number of people including ASI Subodh Kumar Singh were present on the occasion.
