BANSHIDHAR NAGAR: Raid campaign launched in sweet shops

Banshidhar Nagar: On the instructions of Banshidhar Nagar Sub-Divisional Officer Alok Kumar, under the leadership of District Food Safety Officer Raja Kumar, on Friday, along with his entire team, carried out a raid in the vegetable market of the subdivision headquarters city, grocery shops and sweet shops located near the bus stand. Gone. During this, the Food Safety Officer raided the wholesale and retail shops of the city and checked the quality of various items and seized many food items. During the investigation, Raja Kumar instructed the concerned hoteliers to improve the quality of food items and remove the adulterated items from their shop immediately and asked them to keep cleanliness in the shops and feed good quality items to the customers. After that he also checked in various grocery shops of the vegetable market. During the investigation, first of all, Saloni oil, Sajni branded vegetable oil, Vardan refined oil were taken for testing samples from the grocery shop of Priya Traders located in the vegetable market. 

Temple brand mustard oil and temple brand mustard oil from Jitendra Kumar's grocery shop located in vegetable market. Turmeric, Arhar Dal, Black Pepper, Urad Dal from the shop of Ajit Kumar Kesari, Double Deepak Master Oil and Black Pepper from the grocery store of Vivek Jaiswal (Vikas General Store) and Avon Edible Vegetable Oil from the shop of Ravi Enterprises, Light Chandelier Brand Stored edible vegetable oil, soan papdi etc. In the course of investigation, a total of 7 legal samples were taken. Action is being taken to send all the collected samples to food items testing centers located in Kolkata and Ranchi. After this, Raja Kumar raided the shop of Singh Sweets located at the bus stand, from where a fine of five thousand rupees was collected for doing business without a fertilizer license and asked the shop operators to get a normal food license. 

He also warned to take strict action by noticing the shops from next time if caught operating a shop without a license. The banned color of Rajendra Company was found from the hotel of New Shivam Sweets. A fine of five thousand rupees was collected for the use of banned colors in fertilizers. And seeing the filth in the shops, reprimanded the shop operators and left the shop clean from next time with a warning. Seeing the banned color used in Paneer Chilli, he sent it and instructed not to make such mistake from next time. After this, the sweet shop of Bansidhar Sweets was also investigated. There he left the shopkeepers by warning them to keep the sweets in the counter properly and keep the shop clean. Here, the illegal traders became alert as soon as the District Food Officer Raja Kumar came to know about the raid and closed the shutters of the shops and fled. . Due to this action of the administration, there has been a stir among the illegal traders. After the appointment of the same officials, the shopkeepers heaved a sigh of relief, although the Food Safety Officer had to struggle a lot in conducting the raids. on occasion

Strict action will be taken against the shopkeepers if the investigation of sweet shops of the city is found adulterated:

In this regard, Food Safety Officer Raja Kumar said that this campaign has been launched under the direction of the Sub-Divisional Officer to ban the sale of adulterated food items and to check black marketing of food items. He said that during the raids, it was often seen in the shops that inedible color and the color of Rajendra Company were being used. It is injurious to the health of any person. During the inspection, dirt was also found in the kitchens of many hotels. On this, he warned the shopkeepers to take strict action and gave strict instructions to maintain cleanliness. He said that the samples confiscated from various shops would be sent to Ranchi and Kolkata Food Laboratory. He said that there is a possibility of adulteration in the samples which have been sent for testing. Raja Kumar said that this campaign will continue continuously.
