Kandi:- A peace committee meeting was organized in the police station premises regarding the Holi festival. The meeting was presided over by the station in charge Faiz Rabbani. While addressing the people in the meeting, Police Inspector Sanjay Khakha said that we all have been celebrating the Holi festival in a peaceful environment since then. This year also everyone should celebrate Holi in a peaceful manner. He said that alcohol is the only reason for any untoward incident. He said that the police would keep a close watch on the sale of illegal liquor. Along with this, the police will keep strict attention on anti-social elements.
He told the people present that if anywhere you feel like this. If there is a possibility of any untoward incident, inform the police.
