Shri Banshidhar Nagar: Once again speeding became the cause of the accident. On the Nagar Untari-Garhwa National Highway NH 75 road, his tempo full of passengers going from Nagar Untari to Ramna near Kala Chaubedih village overturned uncontrollably. One died in the accident while four others were seriously injured. After the incident, a crowd of nearby villagers gathered. Where all the injured were brought to the local sub-divisional hospital for treatment with the help of the villagers. Here the doctors declared one dead after giving first aid to all the injured. The deceased is said to be Isaac Ansari, a resident of Syriatongar village. Among the remaining injured, Devvansh Yadav, resident of Syria Tongar, his wife Etwariya Devi, daughter Sangeeta Kumari, Ansar Ansari (Ramana, Maan Dohar), are being treated in the sub-divisional hospital. Seeing the serious condition of Devvansh Yadav, the doctor has referred him to Sadar Hospital, Garhwa for better treatment. On the other hand, the police reached the spot and took the tempo in their possession. The same tempo driver has fled after the incident. After the incident, the relatives of the injured reached the hospital and started crying.
Police need to curb the speed of vehicles and overload rides.
Eyewitnesses said that there were overloaded passengers on the tempo. The speed of the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction on the other side was also fast. The tempo driver started overtaking carelessly. As a result, the tempo overturned. It was a mere coincidence that sitting on the tent and riding narrowly escaped otherwise a terrible accident could have happened. People said that overloading should be stopped first. Along with this, a crackdown should also be made on the Re. Tempo drivers. They drive very fast. Accidents happen every day due to this. The police need someone to take this seriously.
